This Presidential Decree amends the Law on Land expropriation.Minor amendments have been made to article 3 and 12.Article 13 has been substituted with a new article dealing with the distribution of land plots to individuals whose lands or houses have been expropriated.Articles 16 and 17 have been modified by substituting the word "Emirates" with the word "State" and by making minor amendments.Amendments have also been made to articles 20 and 22 dealing with the meetings of the commission assigning value to the expropriated property, and with legal documents to be collected by the expropriating department.
