This Chapter concerns the determination of title or other legal interest in land in the State of Kosrae and the registration of such title or interest.For purposes of this Chapter, a land Court is established The Court shall succeed to all responsibilities, registers, properties and assets of the Land Commission. It may make orders and decisions regarding the determination of interests and registration of land, including the subdivision of any interest or rights in land and the determination of any claim of heirship to a deceased person's title or interest in lands. It shall issue certificates of title regarding interest in parcels of land. The Principal Land Justice shall designate registration areas for the registration of interests in land in that area.
