The provisions of this Directive are governed by the Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock. This Directive sets forth the duties, powers and responsibilities of each central unit of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock and provides for the division of their duties, powers and responsibilities to avoid conflict of powers and overlap of duties. The central units of the Ministry and their respective duties covered by this Directive are: Units and departments under the Directorate General of Food and Control, units under the Directorate General of Plant Production, units under the Directorate General of Livestock, units under the General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, units under the General Directorate of Agrarian Reform and units and departments under the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy. The Directive further covers provisions on the duties and responsibilities of some other central departments of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock such as the General Directorate of European Union and Foreign Relations, Board of Guidance and Inspection, Department of Strategy Development, Department of Good Agricultural Practices, Department of Seed Growing, Department of Pastoralism, Department of Animal Feed, Department of Plant Protection, Legal Consultancy Office, General Directorate of Personnel, Department of Supporting Services and the Department of Training, Extension and Publication.The central units of the Ministry and their respective duties covered by this Directive are: Units and departments under the Directorate General of Food and Control, units under the Directorate General of Plant Production, units under the Directorate General of Livestock, units under the General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, units under the General Directorate of Agrarian Reform and units and departments under the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy.The Directive further covers provisions on the duties and responsibilities of some other central departments of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock such as the General Directorate of European Union and Foreign Relations, Board of Guidance and Inspection, Department of Strategy Development, Legal Consultancy Office, General Directorate of Personnel, Department of Supporting Services and the Department of Training, Extension and Publication.
