People
CIAT’s staff includes about 200 scientists. Supported by a wide array of donors, the Center collaborates with hundreds of partners to conduct high-quality research and translate the results into development impact. A Board of Trustees provides oversight of CIAT’s research and financial management.

CIAT SOC APP
There has been quite some debate about the scope for mitigating climate change by soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration. However, it seems there is a general lack of understanding of quantities and the time-dimension, as well as the possible contribution that SOC sequestration can play.
