Caritas Cambodia is an official social development arm of the Catholic Church in Cambodia. It has been built on the values of Love, Concern, Justice, Peace Unity, Sharing and brotherhood. It draws inspiration from the Gospel and aims at integral development of people irrespective of race and creed. Hence the objectives of Caritas Cambodia specifically include the following:
To promote and strengthen activities that are aimed at the integral development of communities particularly to help in Sustainable Agriculture, empowerment program, economic program, Welfare program, Vocational Training, comprehensive health program, Home Care program for persons with HIV/AIDS, Centre for Child Mental Health, Blindness prevention program, Relief and Rehabilitation program.

Le Secours Catholique – Caritas France (SCCF) a entrepris un travail d’observation des modes de vie des populations autochtones et de la gestion de leurs territoires au prisme de l’écologie intégrale telle que défini par le pape François dans l’encyclique Laudato si’. Simultanément, il s’est penché sur l’accompagnement que font ses partenaires qui travaillent sur le terrain en Asie et en Amérique latine.
Synthesis of key comments and recommendations on Draft Agricultural Land Law
The NGO Forum on Cambodia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Fisheries, organized a national consultation workshop on 19-20 December 2016 on the sixth version of the draft Cambodian Agricultural Land Law. In addition to inputs from various stakeholders at the workshop, a legal review was conducted with the assistance of Mr. George Cooper, an independent senior legal expert experienced in land policies.
