The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

The Compensation Act provides for property acquired or to be acquired by the Government of Nepal in accordance with the Nepal laws. The Government of Nepal may, if it considers necessary to acquire any property for the public interest, acquire that property. The authority specified by the Government of Nepal may determine the figure of the compensation of the property acquired pursuant to Sub-section.

Por la presente Ley se crea en el Estado de México el Consejo Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de los Pueblos Indígenas, con el objeto de definir, orientar, coordinar, promover, ejecutar, evaluar y dar seguimiento a las políticas, programas, estrategias y acciones para el desarrollo integral de los pueblos indígenas. Además se crea el Fondo Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de los Pueblos Indígenas del Estado de México (art. 15).

In adherence to article 3 of Forest Act, the Climate and Environment Ministry delegates authority for the protection of four specific (see Regulations) Oslo outdoors areas.
Law No. 1720-Is “On setting up Kolkhida protected areas and management thereof”.
This Law regulates basic legal relations in the sphere of setting up Kolkhida protected areas and management thereof, including management of land areas, forested areas, waterbodies and objects of cultural heritage.
Law No. 3512-bc “On public property”.
This Law establishes that public property can be movable and immovable objects, including plots of agricultural land and public forest. It establishes the terms and conditions for privatization of public property. Privatization of public property shall be performed in accordance with purchase and sale contracts. The following objects of public property shall not be subject to privatization: (a) subsoil; (b) water resources; (c) territorial water; (d) continental shelf; (e) state forest fund; (f) protected areas; (g) national parks; and (h) objects of cultural heritage.
