The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Measures for Review and Approval of Woodlands Used for Construction Projects.
The purpose of these Measures is to standardize the review and approval of woodlands used for construction projects, strictly protect and rationally use forestland so as to promote the development of ecological forestry and livelihood forestry.The construction projects that occupy and temporarily occupy forest lands shall abide by the provisions of forestland classification management, including: (1) All types of construction projects may not use Class I protected forest land.
Regional Decree No. 310-p validating the Regulation on access to protected areas.
This Regional Decree classifies regional protected areas as natural complexes and objects of nature protection, scientific research, cultural, aesthetic, recreational and healthcare significance. It regulates public access to protected areas of regional and local significance, including natural parks, state nature reserves and nature monuments.
Regulation defining areas with natural or other specific constraints.
This Regulation hereby defines the areas present on the territory of the Republic of Croatia with natural or other specific restrictions in accordance with the article 32 of the Regulation (EU) no. 1305/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1698/2005.The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
