The present Regulations enact section 11 of the Oil and Natural Gas Act. For the purpose of the present Regulations “bid” means a proposal for exploration or development of provincial lands for oil or natural gas, that was submitted in response to a call for bids. Section 2 establishes that the Minister may issue a call for bids for an oil and natural gas permit: a) for any provincial lands; or b) for all or part of provincial lands described in a request submitted pursuant to subsection. The text consists of 27 sections.

The present Regulations enact section 25 of the Environmental Protection Act. The Regulations lays down provisions relating to the request of environmental records review. For the purpose of the present Act “environmental records review” means a review of the records maintained or held by the Department respecting a principal property and associated properties listed in an application; and “property” means a parcel of land in the province that has a property identification number assigned by the Provincial Treasury. The text consists of 3 sections and 1 Schedule.

This Act aims at protecting and preserving heritage places in Prince Edward Island. Under section 1, an heritage place is a place which includes or is comprised of an historic resource of an immovable nature. Section 2 defines the responsibilities of the Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs, section 3 provides for the establishment and the operation of the Heritage Places Advisory Board, sections 4 to 16 concern the management of heritage places and include provisions on designation and registration of heritage places, permits, inspections and offences and penalties.
