Mr. Babu Ram Acharya, former Secretary of the Government of Nepal, worked for the Ministry of Land Reform and Management, Ministry of the Labor and Transport Management, Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, and the Regional Administration. He was the Administrative Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal (2014-2015).
He has a Master of Science degree in Cadastre and Land Information System from the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences, ITC, The Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Law Degree from Tribhuwan University (TU), Nepal. Mr. Acharya is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), The United Kingdom. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Surveying, Cadastre, and Land Administration. He worked as the Director General of Survey Department, the National Mapping Organization of Nepal. He has published more than 20 papers in the professional domain.
