The Landesa Center for Women’s Land Rights (LCWLR) believes that all women should have secure rights to and control over the land they use and the land they farm.

An initiative of the LCWLR, LandWise empowers policymakers, researchers, legal practitioners, and women’s advocates to strengthen women’s land  rights around the world through access to relevant and reliable information. LandWise is a free online resource connecting users to legal materials, information about relevant customary practices, and explanatory materials.
