This Act, governing forestry contains, after amendments made to it, virtually all statute law relating to forestry in the Great Britain. The provisions of the Act concentrate almost exclusively on forestry administration and related matters and the powers of an authority here continued, the Forestry Commissioners, to control felling. The Commissioners, established by the 1919 Forestry Act, are charged with the general duty of promoting the interests of Forestry, with the development of afforestation and the production and supply of timber and other forest products in Great Britain (sect.

This Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to participate in forest land management activities on Indian forest lands either directly or through contracts, cooperative agreements or grants under the Indian Self-Determination Act.

This Act amends the Nagaland Village and Area Councils Act, 1978 by changing the title of the Act into Nagaland Village Council Act, 1978 and by deleting sections 23 to 42 abolishing the Area Councils.

This Act, which is composed of 23 articles, lays down provisions concerning establishment, duties, responsibilities, rights and liabilities of the Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia. The Fund was set up with the purpose of managing and disposing of farmland, farms and forests owned by the Republic of Slovenia. The Fund implements the Slovene farmland policy and with due prudence manages the trading with this land.

The present Act makes arrangements relating to lands in Forest Areas. Such lands shall be sold by the appropriate authority to peasants who have "settled down there and who have been cultivating the lands for at least one year past..." (art. 4(1)). Land left over after sale and distribution as described above shall be sold or distributed in the prescribed manner. Further provisions concern the registration of lands, the modalities for the payment of the price of the land by the allottee and enforcement measures.

The amendments of the principal Act change the definition of “extract”, make provision for the creation of a Reserve Fund for purposes set out in section 6, and amend the Schedule relative to internal organization and other matters regarding the North New Georgia Timber Corporation. “Extract” now includes rights to quarry and to move and use sand, etc., and to take and use water, subject to the provisions of the Rivers Water Act.

The is established the North New Georgia Timber Corporation the principal object of which shall be to promote the utilisation of the timber resources of North New Georgia for the public benefit. There shall be a Board of Directors of the Corporation. For purposes of this Act, all ownership of timber standing on customary lands within North New Georgia shall be transferred to the Corporation (sect. 4). Compensation for the acquisition of rights shall be effected in accordance with section 5. The Functions of the North New Georgia Timber Corporation are set out in section 6.

All regional interventions aimed at soil conservation, protection of environmental balance and nature preservation shall be implemented in conformity with the general plan referred to in article 1 of Regional Act No. 36 of 16 August 1974. The plan shall be composed of basin plans corresponding to every single hydrographic unit of the regional territory.

This Act provides principally for the control on the development of land and the planning of development in the Cayman Islands. For this and other purposes, it establishes the Central Planning Authority and the Development Control Board. The Act also concerns acquisition and disposal of land for planning purposes. The Board or the Authority, as the case may be, shall assess and grant permission for proposed development.

The purpose of this Law, which includes 21 articles and 1 supplementary article in 4 sections, is the placement of villagers within forests who are decided to be transferred and to support the development of the forest villagers through the utilization of the areas excluded from forest. This Act lays down the basic principles of forest management and conservation, makes provision for the administration of forestry (Chap.
