Rules relative to occupation of land in the Ramonal-Zapote Reserve. So long as sufficient land is available, any person who wishes to occupy not more than twenty acres of land in the Ramonal-Zapote Reserve, for the purpose of growing annual crops, may do so and may build a house thereon, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule hereto. The conditions of occupation vary according to the cultivation or use of land, e.g. sugar-cane, pasturage, permanent crops other than sugar-cane.

This Regulation establishes, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, vulnerable areas and the use and storage of fertilizers and manure fertilizers, crop rotation and implementation of erosion-control measures in these areas. Vulnerable areas are geographically defined by the cadastral territory of the Czech Republic listed in Annex 1. The measures defined in this Act apply to physical persons who operate agricultural production and are registered and legal persons engaged in entrepreneurial farming in vulnerable areas.

This Order makes provision for additional amendments to enactments as a consequence of the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003 (asp 11). It extends provisions of those enactments which applied to agricultural holdings under the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 1991 (c.55) to the types of tenancy of agricultural land created under Part 1 of the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003, short limited duration tenancies and limited duration tenancies.

This Order brings the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003 into force on 27 November 2003, except for specified provisions. The Order also makes transitional and savings provision in relation to the amendments in the Act which affect agricultural holdings under the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 1991 (article 3 and the Schedule).

These Regulations, made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture under section 29 of the Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act, provide for measures to protect soil from erosion and in general conservation of the soil and combating of weeds and plant invaders. In particular attention is given to cultivation of land (especially on slopes), protection of cultivated land against erosion through the action of water or wind, and prevention of waterlogging and salination of irrigated land.
