Pastoral Land Management and Conservation Act 1989.
This Act, consisting of 70 sections divided into eight and completed by one Schedule, provides for the management and conservation of pastoral lands in the territory of South Australia.

The scope of this Act is to regulate reindeer breeding activities and the use of reindeer pastures. Also the counting of reindeer and marking of animals is provided for (Chapters 3 and 4). Chapter 6 concerns the compensation of damages to forests and cultivation. Chapter 7 provides for the protection of reindeers. Various measures placing restrictions on reindeer breeding may be decided upon by the Government pursuant to section 2 of the Act relative to Protection Forests (No. 196/22).

This Ordinance empowers the Governor in Council to regulate various aspects of pasturage including reservation of land owned or leased by Government for the pasturage of animals subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be prescribed. The Council Committee shall be responsible for the carrying out of this Ordinance and Regulations made thereunder. The Ordinance also provides rules relative to impounding and marking of animals and provides that moneys raised under this Ordinance shall be paid into a fund called the Animal Husbandry Fund.
This Regional Law establishes that forest land plots granted to citizens free of charge or with the establishment of servitude for agro-forestry (haymaking, grazing, apiculture, reindeer ranching, growing of crops etc.). Land areas shall be established within the following limits: (a) arable land – 3 ha; (b) haymaking – 10 ha; (c) apiculture – 0, 3 ha; and (d) other agricultural activities – 5 ha. Citizens shall have the right to allotment of several forest land plots for performance of different agricultural activities.
This Regional Law establishes that forest land plots granted to citizens free of charge for the length of service for limited utilization shall be allotted to forest officers and staff of state hunting organizations (game managers and gamekeepers) for agro-forestry (haymaking, grazing, apiculture, growing of crops etc.). Land areas shall be established within the following limits: (a) arable land – 3 ha; (b) haymaking – 10 ha; and (c) other agricultural activities – 5 ha.
This Act concerns quality of feed resources for livestock in Tanzania. It establishes the National Grazing-land and Animal Feed Resources Advisory Council and provides for appointment of inspectors and a Director within the Ministry who shall be responsible for the administration of grazing-land utilization and animal feed resources. The Act furthermore provides for, among other things, the development and management of grazing lands, the control on manufacture of and trade in animal feed and forage seeds and the protection of grazing land.

This Act makes provision for the constitution of Parish Councils in Jamaica, defines their functions and powers, and provides with respect to their election, organization and administration and other relevant matters. Parish Councils shall be corporations and shall be successors to Municipal Boards, the Boards of Parochial Roads Commissioners and Parochial Boards constituted under the Parochial Boards Law, 1885.
This Act, consisting of 108 sections divided into nine Parts and completed by one Schedule, makes provision for the tenure, management, and alienation of crown lands. "Crown lands" means all lands of the Territory, including the bed of the sea within the territorial limits of the Northern Territory, and including an estate in fee simple that is registered in the name of the Territory, but does not include reserved or dedicated lands. The main body of the Act (Part 3) contains provisions relative to leases, easements, and servitude.
This Act provides for the management of public gardens, i.e. any land vested in the Commissioner of Lands, and designated by him or any entity acting on his behalf for use as public garden. It also prohibits various activities in such gardens and provides for seizure and impounding of stray animals. prohibited activities include: picking of fruits, plants or flowers; destroying of trees; and injuring of animals.
The scope of this Act is to promote the ecologically-sustainable reindeer husbandry based on Sami culture, traditions and customs. The Act provides for rights and duties of reindeer herders; regulates the relationship with other economic activities having regard to the general interest; regulates the relationship between reindeer herders as far as necessary; and lays the foundation for administration and organization of reindeer husbandry. The Act provides for the establishment of reindeer districts which shall be administered by a district council.
