The Summer School on “Land Governance and Development” jointly organised by the School of Public Policy and Governance of Azim Premji University, Bangalore and NRMC-Center for Land Governance (An Intellecap Subsidiary), will take place in Bhubaneshwar from 20-25 June 2022 at the Azim Premji University Campus, Bangalore.
The week-long Summer School aims to introduce participants to the development and policy debates centered around land and expose them to contemporary challenges and opportunities. Land has been gaining traction in the global and local development discourses, emphasising the need for planning better land based projects or interventions. The participants would be trained by land administration experts, academicians, development and legal professionals from India and abroad and the sessions would cover relevant local and global examples.
Participation is invited from practitioners & researchers working in the fields of Land Administration, Land Tenure Security, Land Use and Acquisition as Government officials, Development Sector Professionals, Private Sector Managers, Academia, Journalists and Lawyers.
Applicants are requested to fill the registration form by 15th May, 2022.Selected candidates will be intimated by 20th May 2022 who will have to confirm their participation by 30th May 2022. During the summer school, participants will be provided food and on-campus accommodation free of cost by the organiser.
