Within the legal framework laid down in Act No. 183 of 1989, this Regional Act has been enacted to guarantee soil conservation, water restoration and to encourage the rational use of water resources. The Regional Basin Authority, established under the Regional Council (art. 2) shall govern the use and management of regional basins, which are determined by Annex B. The Authority consists of the Institutional Committee (art. 4), the Technical Committee (art. 6) and the Secretary-General (art. 7).

El presente Real Decreto tiene por objeto el establecimiento de un marco jurídico y técnico adecuado para las actividades de eliminación de residuos mediante depósito en vertederos, al tiempo que regula las características de éstos y su correcta gestión y explotación, todo ello teniendo en cuenta el principio de jerarquía en la gestión de residuos, y con la finalidad de proteger la salud de las personas y el medio ambiente.

This Act, consisting of 7 Parts divided into 48 sections, makes provision with respect to the use of agricultural chemicals as defined by the AGVET Code which applies in force of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Queensland) Act 1994. Part 2 contains provisions dealing with matters of administration such as inspection and control and the continuing in existence of the Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control Board. Part 3 regulates distribution of pesticides from the air, whereas Part 4 concerns distribution from the ground.

The present Provincial Act lays down provisions intended to protect the internal waters of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. For the purpose of this Act, natural and artificial lakes comprised within the provincial territory are considered as protected basins. Such protection determines some use restrictions for the owners or holders of the territories concerned. Particular prohibitions are set forth in article 3 (2). For instance, any modification of the elements which constitute a basin is forbidden, as well as the release of waste and waste water discharges.

Regulation made under the Fertilizing Substances Act and amending the Decrees cited in the title for the purpose of further reducing the pollution of water and soil by nitrate compounds caused by animal manure. Rules for good agricultural practice are prescribed in the framework of Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources.

Conformément à l'article 15, § 3 à § 5 du décret du 23 janvier 1991 relatif à la protection de l’environnement contre la pollution due aux engrais l’article 2 de l’arrêté susvisé désigne les zones "eaux" vulnérables. L’article 3 établit que le Ministre ayant l'Environnement dans ses attributions est chargé d'établir un fichier hydrographique digital mentionnant les zones vulnérables telles qu'énumérées à l'article 2 et telles que figurant sur la carte à l'échelle 1/650.000 de l'annexe 1er au présent arrêté. Le texte est formé par 5 articles et 1 annexe.

By adopting this Resolution, the Interministerial Committee for Economic Programming has approved the document containing the “Environmental Action Strategy for Sustainable Development in Italy 2002-2010”.

The Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania have agreed as follows: 1) Land, subsoil, water and other natural resources within the boundaries of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania being public property is managed and protected as the basis of life and vital activity. 2) The parties recognize the presence on the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania of natural resources pertaining to federal, republican and joint management.

The objective of these Regulations is to achieve an integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from activities which are listed in Schedule 1, and which including certain timber processing and slaughter of animals. The Regulations lay down measures designed to prevent or reduce release of substances or other forms of pollution of water, soil or air arising from listed activities. Regulations 3 to 20 provide for granting of permits for the operation of installations listed in Schedule 1.

The present Regional Act has been enacted in order to rearrange the functions in matter of soil protection and water domain and related organization.

These Regulations aim at the prevention of pollution of groundwater by substances listed in the Schedule and to control or eliminate as far as possible consequences of existing pollution. Regulation 3 excludes certain effluents and discharges from the application sphere of the Regulations. Regulation 6 concerns authorization of artificial recharges of groundwater.

The principal Regulations prohibit the use of lead shot for shooting with a shot gun: (a) on or over any area below the high-water mark; (b) on or over the sites of special scientific interest included in Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations; (c) any wild bird included in Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations. Regulation 2(2) of these Regulations substitutes a new Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations, providing a revised list of sites of special scientific interest to which the prohibition on the use of lead shot applies.
