Fue fundada el 25 de abril de 1962, por un grupo de profesores universitarios y representantes del comercio y la industria reunidos en la "Asociación Civil PRODIES (Promoción del Desarrollo Industrial a través de la Educación Superior)".

La Pontificia Universidad Javeriana es una universidad privada colombiana fundada en 1623 y regentada por la Compañía de Jesús. Tiene dos sedes: la principal, en Bogotá, y otra seccional en Cali.

La Universidad Sergio Arboleda es una universidad privada colombiana. Su sede principal se ubica en la ciudad de Bogotá y cuenta con extensiones en Santa Marta, Barranquilla, Miami y Madrid. MDPI AG, a publisher of open-access scientific journals, was spun off from the Molecular Diversity Preservation International organization. It was formally registered by Shu-Kun Lin and Dietrich Rordorf in May 2010 in Basel, Switzerland, and maintains editorial offices in China, Spain and Serbia. MDPI relies primarily on article processing charges to cover the costs of editorial quality control and production of articles. Over 280 universities and institutes have joined the MDPI Institutional Open Access Program; authors from these organizations pay reduced article processing charges.

Trade & Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) is an independent, non-profit, economic research institution based in Pretoria, South Africa. It was established in 1996 to support economic policy development, with an emphasis on industrial policy, in South Africa and the region.

TIPS has three main areas of work: trade and industrial policy; inequality and economic inclusion; and sustainable growth.

The OECD Development Centre was established in 1961 as an independent platform for knowledge sharing and policy dialogue between Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development member countries and developing economies, allowing these countries to interact on an equal footing.
