La presente Ley tiene por objeto establecer la normativa para la administración y gestión de las vías pecuarias de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha, en el marco de la Ley de Vías Pecuarias, y de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Estatuto de Autonomía de la Comunidad Autónoma. Las vías pecuarias, son las rutas o itinerarios por donde discurre o ha venido discurriendo tradicionalmente el tránsito ganadero.

The National Programme on Forests 2004-2007 (PNF) aims to promote the balanced and sustainable use and conservation of Brazilian forests. This will be done through the articulation of public policies related to issues such as: land tenure, credit and financing, environmental legislation, research and technology, training and capacity building, etc. This interministerial programme provides incentive instruments to good use of natural resources and will broaden experiences that prove to be perfectly possible and necessary to grow with respect to the natural balance.

El presente Decreto establece normas sobre la operación del Fondo de Tierras y Aguas Indígenas contemplado por el artículo 20 de la Ley N° 19.253. El Fondo tiene por objeto: a) el otorgamiento de subsidios para la adquisición de tierras; b) el financiamiento de mecanismos para la solución de problemas relativos a tierras ; c) el financiamiento para la constitución, regularización o compra de derechos de aguas o financiar obras destinadas a obtener este recurso.

These Regulations concern various matters concerning the management and conservation of protected areas including marine areas. Prescribed classes of protected areas are: (a) nature reserves (b) national parks; (c) natural monuments; (d) resource management areas; (e) closed area. Any area within Solomon Islands that is listed under the Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage as a world heritage site shall be declared as a protected area under any or more of the classes of protected areas.

En el marco de la Ley Nº 19.253, este Decreto tiene por objeto reglamentar la organización y el funcionamiento del Registro Público de Tierras Indígenas. La Corporación Nacional de Desarrollo Indígena es la autoridad responsable de abrir y mantener dicho registro, en el cual se inscribirán todas las tierras indígenas a que se refiere el artículo 12 de la mencionada Ley.

For decades, policymakers and development practitioners have debated benefits and threats of property rights formalization and private versus customary tenure systems. This paper provides insights into the challenges in understanding and empirically analyzing the relationship between tenure systems and agricultural investment, and formulates policy advice that can support land tenure interventions. We focus on Ghana, based on extensive qualitative fieldwork and a review of empirical research and policy documents.

Improving women’s access to land is high on the agricultural policy agenda of both governmental and non-governmental agencies. Yet, the determinants and rationale of gendered access to land are not well understood. This paper argues that gender relations are more than the outcomes of negotiations within households. It explains the importance of social norms, perceptions, and formal and informal rules shaping access to land for male and female farmers at four levels: (1) the household/family, (2) the community, (3) the state, and (4) the market. The framework is applied to Ghana.
