The National Economic and Social Development Plan for St. Vincent and the Grenadines covers the period 2013-2025, and outlines the country’s long-term strategies for national development. The Plan offers a vision for improving the quality of life for all Vincentians. The Plan seeks also to improve on the shortcomings of the previous ones and to outline a strategy to achieve sustainable economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction leading to the improvement in the quality of life for Vincentians.

The NAP is a result of macro, regional and global economic changes that have bearing on the development of the agricultural sector. These changes are reflected in the national policy framework which reflects the Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP).

La présente loi modifie les dispositions des articles 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13 et 15 de la loi n° 95­034 du 03 octobre 1995 autorisant la création des organismes chargés de la protection contre les inondations et fixant les redevances pour la protection contre les inondations.L’article 1er (nouveau) crée sur le territoire de la République au niveau des communes des organismes chargés de la protection contre les inondations, et institue la perception par les organismes de redevances pour la protection contre les inondations.

La presente Ley tiene por objeto establecer un régimen jurídico especial que permita realizar, en forma ágil y expedita, diligencias de legalización de la propiedad o de regularización de la posesión, que sean necesarias para otorgar seguridad jurídica sobre estos a personas de escasos recursos económicos y a personas afectadas por desastres naturales ocurridos a partir de enero de 2001.

These Regulations specify the substances which are hazardous substances for the purposes of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and the controlled quantities of those substances. They also lay down the procedure for applications for consent and the determination of applications. Section 108 of the Act provides that the presence on, over or under land, of a hazardous substance equal to or in excess of the controlled quantity (as specified by Regulations) requires the consent of the district council.

In 2005 the EU began far-reaching reform of its sugar sector resulting in a cut of 36% over four years (2006-2010) on the guaranteed price for raw sugar, which is the main variety exported by Caribbean countries. In anticipation of the impending cuts the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis took the decision to stop sugar production in 2005 after centuries of sugar production.
