The newly instituted Survey and Demarcation Division shall conduct the survey and definiton of boundaries of the so called reserved Forests of Bhutan and shall widely spread information about the forest areas included under this provision, in order to ascertain eventual claims of rights on forests and their products, land and water courses or grazing and pasture rights. The involved land shall be excluded from the reserved forest areas or expropriated or acquired.

Ce décret porte composition, attributions et modalités de fonctionnement de la commission consultative prévue à l'article 12 du décret nº 76-166 du 27 avril 1976, fixant les modalités de gestion du domaine national. Cette commission est chargée notamment: d'organiser l'espace rural en zones agricoles et zones d'élevage; de définir les modalités d'utilisation des zones mixtes, qui sont insusceptibles d'appropriation privée; d'assurer le respect des délimitations agro-pastorales et de règler les litiges agro-pastoraux.

La agricultura familiar es un sector clave para lograr la erradicación del hambre y el cambio hacia sistemas agrícolas sostenibles en América Latina y el Caribe y el mundo. Los pequeños agricultores son aliados de la seguridad alimentaria y actores protagónicos en el esfuerzo de los países por lograr un futuro sin hambre. En nuestra región, el 80% de las explotaciones pertenecen a la agricultura familiar, incluyendo a más de 60 millones de personas, convirtiéndose en la principal fuente de empleo agrícola y rural.

El 2015, el 23 y 24 de septiembre respectivamente, se llevó a cabo el Tercer Foro Internacional Andino Amazónico de Desarrollo Rural en la ciudad de La Paz, Bolivia. Este importante encuentro aglutinó a un millar de personas y representantes de instituciones académicas, de desarrollo rural y movimientos sociales de Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay y Perú.

La Asociación Transatlántica para el Comercio y la Inversión (TTIP por sus siglas en inglés) podría tener un gran impacto en la agricultura y la producción de alimentos en la Unión Europea. Los lobbies corporativos a ambos lados del Atlántico están buscando un mayor acceso a los mercados , pero los alimentos europeos y americanos se producen con diferentes estándares de seguridad alimentaria (DG de Política Interior, 2015), bienestar animal (Protección Animal Mundial/Humane Society International, 2014) y protección medioambiental (AT Europa/IATP, 2013).

The presenter then discusses soil formation, hydrology, land uses (including data on rice exports and shrimp demand), and threats to the region. Finally, the presenter discusses integrated farming systems, research and applications.

Rural areas are not exempted from the impacts of globalisation. Global trends affecting agriculture are particularly significant in this respect. A number of options are available to developing countries in responding to these trends. Given the scarcity of resources it is important that they choose carefully. If they fail to respond, rural areas will become even more marginalized than they are already.

Although «urban» and «rural» development are often considered as in opposition to each other and seen as competing with each other for investment and support, many urban centres owe much of their economic base to agriculture. Ironically, one of the best tests of whether rural development is working is whether local urban centres are booming - as increasing agricultural output is served by markets and producer services there, and as real increases in income for a wide range of rural households are reflected in increased demand for goods and services provided by urban-based enterprises.

For the first time in the recent history of rural development there is a possibility of creating an infrastructure that dramatically reduces the isolation of rural life. Although ICTs may seem a fragile basis on which to build far-reaching change, a meeting organized by CTA showed that they can speed up the exchange of knowledge and ideas between urban centres and rural communities. In countries struggling to maintain basic amenities, it is the towns that interface most closely with global society.

Agricultural value chains link urban consumption with rural production. Changing demand, as a consequence of urbanization, emergence of «modern» consumption patterns or new trends in international trade, impacts on rural areas along value chains and spills over to marketing and production systems.These rural urban linkages bear challenges but also mutual benefits for producers and consumers and can be promising entry points for development interventions.This is illustrated with the case of the Kenyan potato value chain.

La presente Resolución aprueba los Lineamientos para la ejecución y aprobación de estudios de levantamiento de suelos para la clasificación de tierras por su capacidad de uso mayor (CTCUM), con fines de saneamiento físico legal y formalización del territorio de las Comunidades Nativas, que se establecen sobre la base del interés público para la titulación del territorio de las Comunidades Nativas, el cual tiene como limitación la aptitud forestal de la tierra, supuesto en el cual solo se entrega en cesión en uso.
