La présente loi porte régime foncier au Rwanda. Elle est formée par 88 articles répartis en 7 chapitres, à savoir: Dispositions générales (I); Catégorie des terres (II); Gestion, aménagement et utilisation des terres (III); Droits et obligations des titulaires de droits fonciers (IV); Prescription (V); Dispositions pénales (VI) et Dispositions transitoires et finales (VII). L'Etat dispose d'un droit éminent de gestion de l'ensemble des terres et est le seul habilité à accorder les droits d'occupation et d'usage de la terre.

This Federal Law regulates relations originating from elaboration, conclusion, performance and stopping of concession agreements ensuring protection of rights and legal interests of the participants of concession agreements. Object of concession agreement must be owned by concessor at the moment of conclusion of concession agreement. This Law envisages the following objects that can be granted on concession: (a) waterworks; (b) water supply, water and waste treatment facilities; and (c) plots of land, plots of forests and waterbodies on condition of lease.

Provincial Act No. 6 laying down new provisions for the management of public lands.

This Provincial Act sets out the legislative framework governing the management of public lands destined to public uses, particulary agro-forestry and silvopastoralism. The Act aims at the environmental protection and economic development of those lands. The Act further regulates the right of use of these public lands. Special provisions are laid down with respect to the Regole of Spinale and Manez, referred to in Provincial Act No. 12 of 1960.

This Act consists of 66 sections divided into 6 Parts: Preliminary (1); Administration (2); Licences (3); Financial (4); Offences and penalties (5); General (6).Section1 contains a list of definitions. Sections 2 declares the property in, and control over, petroleum in its natural condition in land in the Republic is vested in the Republic and prohibits carrying on in any land in the Republic petroleum prospecting or development operations, except under, and in accordance with, a licence issued under this Act.

This Act provides for mining, including alluvial mining, and regulates in detail various aspects of mining tenements, i.e. (a) an exploration licence; (b) a special mining lease; (c) a mining lease; (d) an alluvial mining lease; (e) a lease for mining purposes; and (f) a mining easement, granted or deemed to have been granted under this Act.A tenement granted under this Act is not an interest in land for the purposes of the Land Act 1996 (sect. 2). The Head of State may grant a special mining lease on specific terms and conditions under section 33.

This Legislative Decree, composed of 50 Chapters, approves the basic Order on Urban and Spatial Planning. The aim of this Law is to regulate land registration in Dubai. This Law is composed of 11 Chapters divided into 29 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the scope of application and rights of ownership. Chapter 3 contains general provisions. Chapter 4 provides for the jurisdiction of the Department of Lands and Properties. Chapter 5 and 6 pertain to land register, registration and recording. Chapter 7 provides for alterations or corrections of records in land's register. Chapter 8 refers to maps. Chapter 9 addresses dividing and merging.

Regional Law No. 96-ZO “On protected areas”.

This Regional Law regulates the issues related to formation, protection, keeping, functioning and suppression of protected areas, organization and reservation thereof.
