The objective of the land legislation is to ensure the rights and interests of the subject in the land, which should be reflected in a clear legal regulation of procedures and conditions for seizure of land. According to the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 20.06.2003, all land should be used for its intended purpose. Use of land for the intended purpose means that the site should be used in accordance with the originally set goals - for agricultural production, housing, etc.

This paper analyzes environmental
reliance, poverty, and climate vulnerability among more than
7,300 households in forest adjacent communities in 24
developing countries. The data are from the detailed,
quarterly income recording done by the Poverty Environment
Network project. Observed income is combined with predicted
income (based on households’ assets and other
characteristics) to create four categories of households:

This manual outlines dispute resolution mechanisms, procedures and strategies that are or will be put in place by the Sri Lanka Ministry of Justice’s Special Mediation Boards (Land) to promote the resolution of a variety of housing, land and property disputes in the country. Sri Lanka has a long history and experience utilizing collaborative resolution methods to address a wide variety of disputes, and many recent positive experiences with mediation.

A situational analysis on artisan mining was conducted in five Regional States
of Ethiopia, namely Oromia, Tigray, SNNP, Benishangul-Gumuz (BGR) and
Amhara as part of the EEITI process. The general objective of the study
is to analyze various aspects of artisan mining operations in Ethiopia, its economic
value, social contribution and social impacts. In addition, the assessment includes as
to what process could be undertaken to integrate artisan mining information into
EITI reports and EITI processes.

In a course of the research there were studied ecological and economic regularities of land resources management. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of realized research there was revealed that the system of methods of land resources management includes economic, administrative-legal, political, technical-technological, organizational-administrative, and social-psychological aspects.

In urban areas, infrastructure projects to improve the living environment, such as construction of roads and parks, have been carried out by modifying and abolishing agricultural land. In this paper, we described the overview of 'subsistence farming' in Motomura and the farming method and life styles of the villagers there in order to understand the problems of mountain villages. In the old days, the villagers here employed four types of farming methods : field-slash-and-burn-forest-meadow. Staple food in this village was taro and grains or coarse cereal gained through slash-and-burn farming. From 1782 to 1788, a great famine occurred.
