This Order relates to the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act (Chapter 256). Paragraph 2 describes the premises declared to be protected places for the purposes of the Act. No person shall be in those premises unless in possession of a permit or having received special permission from an authorized officer. The Schedule lists the protected places and their location.

These Regulations are made under section 68 of the Mining Act and make further provision for mining and related matters in Fiji.They provide, inter alia, for: fees, rents and royalties (regs.

The aim of this Resolution is to lay down bases and foudations in order to regulate and arrnge the creation, development and rehabilition of urban communities outside the protection areas and administrative boundaries of cities and provinces. It is composed of 17 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 4 decrees that the establishment and creation of urbn communities shall be carried out by a resolution of the Council of Ministers after the ratification of the High Committee.

This Order amends Parts 1 and 21 of Schedule 1 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 in relation to the installation, alteration or replacement of a satellite antenna on a dwellinghouse or within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse. Development is restricted in a “designated area”, i.e. a national scenic area, National Park, conservation area, historic garden or designed landscape.

This Decree is composed of five articles. It establishes the Chapada Limpa extractive reserve, located in the Municipality of Chapadinha, Maranhão State. The institution of an extractive reserve aims at granting a use and conservation of renewable natural resources traditionally used by resident people.

This Decree is composed of two articles. It regulates administrative aspects of Imbiriba indigenous land, located in the municipality of Porto Seguo, Bahia State. In particular, it provides geographical coordinates of the protected area.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for calculating and collecting compensation for the transfer of forested areas to a category of land not related to forest management. The amount of payment shall be established in accordance with the basic rate set for a given category of forest, based on the composition and productivity of forest. In the process of calculation, the period of time of the transfer shall also be taken into consideration. Payments for the transfer of forested areas to establish protected areas shall be prohibited.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that allocation of the plots of land destined for setting up and extension of protected areas of the national and local significance shall be carried out in accordance with the programmes of development of the system of protected areas and ecological networks and natural and scientific substantiation. Land allocation decisions shall be made by provincial administration and local self-government.
