La Estrategia Regional Agroambiental y de Salud de Centroamérica es un instrumento estratégico adoptado en el marco del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana (SICA). Objetivo general del documento es promover un mecanismo intersectorial para la gestión agroambiental, con énfasis en el manejo sostenible de tierras, biodiversidad, variabilidad y cambio climático, negocios agro-ambientales, espacios y estilos de vida saludables, de manera que contribuya al desarrollo humano sostenible.

This Regulation prescribes the criteria and necessary standards for the correct valuation (Capability Evaluation) of agricultural land, to be classified in the category of particularly valuable (P1) or valuable arable agricultural land (P2).The basic requirements for a correct evaluation are relative to the values of the soil, climate conditions, terrain, and other natural conditions for agricultural production volume.The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation. Liberia’s Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) is built on the foundation of the Government’s 150-Day Action Plan. The PRS is part of a longer-term continuum of the Government’s strategy for rapid, inclusive and sustainable growth and poverty reduction, including progress toward achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The PRS covers the three-year period from April 2008 to June 2011.

The current support policy is increasing gaps in land management intensity among different regions of the country. The support policy for agricultural and rural development does not deal with solutions for land abandonment or environmental objectives, because the abandonment is becoming a hidden, environmental policy and rural development process, which is more expensive for society. Some alternative approaches and principles for designing a new agricultural land policy for Latvia could decrease the policy costs and make land management more targeted and acceptable for society.

The basic agricultural structure in Poland consists of small and medium family-owned farmsteads. Public funds grant their support primarily to farmers capable of competing efficiently within the EU market. In most cases, that means farmsteads covering a larger area. It is the real property market that regulates the agrarian structure. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to present the situation on the farmland market in respect to Poland's membership in the European Union.

In the research was submitted agricultural land market in Poland, in the political system transformation conditions, with consideration it function, stimulating the structural change of farming including territorial structure. There were characterized changes occurring in polish country with indication of the following processes: growing strength of agricultural land market, increasing role of agricultural lands' lease and also progressive process of land concentration and changing ownership relations.

More than 124 governmental entities concerned about suburban sprawl and farmland loss have implemented farmland preservation programs preserving 1.67 million acres at a cost of $3.723 billion. We ask how effective are these programs in slowing the rate of farmland loss. Using a unique 50-year 269 county panel data set on preservation programs and farmland loss for six Mid-Atlantic States, we employ the propensity score matching method to find strong empirical evidence that these programs have had a statistically significant effect on the rate of farmland loss.

In this study, by using cellular analyze method according to ecological criteria, the determination of agricultural land suitability of Research and Practice Farm of Ankara University Agrucultural Faculty Farm and Haymana Research Farm of Central Research Institute for Field Crops lands, which are in Ankara province and Haymana district, was aimed. For this aim, by using Geographical Information Systems(GIS) techniques, the data layers such as some soil properties, topography and irrigation was examined for each land criterion to determine the weighted scale.
