This Regulation of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) implements provisions of the Community Rights Law of 2009 with Respect to Forest Lands ("Community Rights Law"), and determines the rules, guidelines and procedures for the establishment of forest communities and to access, manage, use and the benefits of forest resources within the Republic of Liberia, and participation by communities in the reforestation, rehabilitation and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Liberia.

This Decree, consisting of seven Chapters, establishes the Implementation of the Law on Standardization. It specifies the provisions for interpretation, explanation and instruction of certain articles of the Law on Standardization to ensure the accuracy, clarity, correctness and uniform understanding throughout the country, aiming to implement the Law on Standardization effectively and in line with international and regional agreements and treaties to which Lao PDR is a party.

These Regulations provide for the creation and management of heritage parks, natural environment parks and recreation parks in compliance with the Territorial Parks Act. The Regulations are completed by three schedules, each dedicated to one category of parks.

This Resolution, consisting of 5 articles, establishes the Regional Territorial Planning Scheme of the São Vicente island (EROT-SV). It also states that the General Direction for Territorial and Urban Land Use Planning (DGOTDU) will be responsible for promoting the design of the EROT, through a competition for selecting an enterprise or cabinet with technical capacities. It establishes terms and conditions to announce a competition, to identify the public Regional interests and to establish previsions and restrictions related to the transformation of involved territorial areas.

This Regulation provides for the implementation of the Law No. 6306 on restructuring of areas under risk of natural disasters. The Regulation sets forth the rules and procedures of determination of the areas and buildings to be restructured, determination of the value of immovables, assistance to beneficiaries, demolition of buildings at risk. This Regulation repeals the Regulation on the implementation of Law on restructuring of areas under risk of natural disasters dated 4 August 2012.

This Resolution approves the National Directives for Land use Planning (DNOT). It establishes the requirements for National territorial planning, as established by Legislative Decree No. 1/2006 (Bases: X and XVI) amended by Legislative Decree No. 6/2010 and Decree-Law No. 43/2010. It is an instruments to regulate territorial: management development, planning, sectoral policy, etc.

This Order, consisting of 4 articles and 2 Annexes, establishes spatial uses classes, according to the soil classification established by Decree-Law No. 43/2010. Annexes list classification of soils and respective spatial classes.

The present Regulation is enacted under the East Side Traditional Lands Planning and Special Protected Areas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the delimitation of the East Side Management Area. The text consists of 3 sections.

These Regulations designate a coastal area as a Special Protection Area in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Conservation of Wild Birds. The purpose is to ensure protection from disturbance, capture and damage to nests and eggs under Article 5 of the Directive for all species of birds, not just the birds listed on Schedule 3 (with the exception of those birds covered under Articles 7 for hunting and 9, where derogations are listed).

This Ordinance empowers the Council Committee to order in writing the owner or occupier of land to undertake or adopt such measures as they may deem necessary for the conservation of natural resources on such land and the prevention of injury to the natural resources on other land. Such Order may be made for prohibiting, regulating or controlling, among other things: (a) the breaking or clearing of land for the purposes of cultivation; (b) the grazing or watering of livestock; (c) the firing, clearing or destruction of vegetation; or (d) afforestation of deforestation.
