The present Law implements the Federal Land Parcel Act of 2 August 1961 (BGBl. I, pp. 1091-1103) and Land Lease Act of 8 November 1985 (BGBl. I p. 2075). In particular, the Law lays down provisions dealing with registration, proceedings and authorization of land transactions.
The present Law introduces some minor amendments to the Land Transaction Law 2001 (LGBl. 9/2002). In particular, the Law amends article 2 dealing with legal transactions of forestry land. The text consists of 4 articles.

This Act regulates relations between the state, local governments and other persons in the preparation of plans related to land use. A plan prepared in the process of planning is a document which consists of a text and maps.
This Act provides the restrictions on the acquisition of immovables arising from public interest.
The purpose of the present Act is to create a uniforme basis for the valuation of agricultural crop land with a view to taxation. Furthermore, the land valuation also serves , inter alia, for the protection of soil and to set up a soil information system.
Item 6 shall be amended to add the following wording: “In case of voluntary liquidation of economic entities having status of legal persons, calculation and application of single land tax shall stop from the moment of notification of registration authority on liquidation.
The present Act provides for the procedures related to expropriation and the management of abandoned land. It addresses matters related to compensation and regulates the use of expropriated lands.
This Federal Law regulates relations originating from elaboration, conclusion, performance and stopping of concession agreements ensuring protection of rights and legal interests of the participants of concession agreements.
