These Regulations designate a coastal area as a Special Protection Area in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Conservation of Wild Birds. The purpose is to ensure protection from disturbance, capture and damage to nests and eggs under Article 5 of the Directive for all species of birds, not just the birds listed on Schedule 3 (with the exception of those birds covered under Articles 7 for hunting and 9, where derogations are listed).

This Ordinance empowers the Council Committee to order in writing the owner or occupier of land to undertake or adopt such measures as they may deem necessary for the conservation of natural resources on such land and the prevention of injury to the natural resources on other land. Such Order may be made for prohibiting, regulating or controlling, among other things: (a) the breaking or clearing of land for the purposes of cultivation; (b) the grazing or watering of livestock; (c) the firing, clearing or destruction of vegetation; or (d) afforestation of deforestation.

This Regulation regulates the activities of land reclamation, strengthens the administration of land reclamation and improves the social, economic and ecological benefits of land utilization.The Regulation provides for the formulation and contents of plans for the reclamation of land destroyed by production and construction activities, and makes provision for the reclamation of destroyed land left from history and land destroyed by natural disasters.The Regulation further provides for: applications for as-built inspections; incentive measures for land reclamation; legal liabilities; etc.

These Rules amend the Town and Country Planning (Inquiries Procedure) (Scotland) Rules 1997 and the Town and Country Planning Appeals (Determination by Appointed Person) (Inquiries Procedure) (Scotland) Rules 1997 by providing that those Rules do not apply to inquiries held in connection with the consideration of applications or appeals under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997 whose procedure is regulated by the Town and Country Planning (Appeals) (Scotland) Regulations 2008.

La présente ordonnance est relative à la taxe pour l’assainissement des sites contaminés. En particulier, elle régit: a. la perception d’une taxe sur le stockage définitif de déchets en Suisse et sur l’exportation de déchets destinés au stockage définitif à l’étranger; b. l’affectation du produit de la taxe au paiement d’indemnités pour l’assainissement de sites contaminés. L’article 3 établit que tout détenteur de décharge doit acquitter une taxe sur le stockage définitif de déchets en Suisse; quiconque exporte des déchets en vue d’un stockage définitif doit acquitter une taxe.

The present Regulations enact section 25 of the Environmental Protection Act. The Regulations lays down provisions relating to the request of environmental records review. For the purpose of the present Act “environmental records review” means a review of the records maintained or held by the Department respecting a principal property and associated properties listed in an application; and “property” means a parcel of land in the province that has a property identification number assigned by the Provincial Treasury.
