La presente Ley Orgánica de Tierras Rurales y Territorios Ancestrales, tiene por objeto normar el uso y acceso a la propiedad de la tierra rural, el derecho a la propiedad de la misma que deberá cumplir la función social y la función ambiental. Regula la posesión, la propiedad, la administración y redistribución de la tierra rural como factor de producción para garantizar la soberanía alimentaria, mejorar la productividad, propiciar un ambiente sustentable y equilibrado, y otorgar seguridad jurídica a los titulares de derechos.

La presente Resolución aprueba los Lineamientos para la ejecución del procedimiento de Rectificación de Áreas, Linderos, Medidas Perimétricas, Ubicación y otros Datos Físicos de Predios Rurales Inscritos, con el objeto de establecer un adecuado procedimiento de rectificación de áreas, linderos, medidas perimétricas, ubicación y otros datos físicos de predios rurales inscritos, así como los Formatos correspondientes.

El presente Decreto declara como datum horizontal oficial para Costa Rica, el CR05, enlazado al Marco Internacional de Referencia Terrestre (ITRF2000) del Servicio Internacional de Rotación de la Tierra (IERS) para la época de medición 2005.83, asociado al elipsoide del Sistema Geodésico Mundial (WGS84).

Article 1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Lease payment for plots of agricultural land shall be calculated with application of index 0, 3 percent”.

Article 8 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Urban land destined for urban and peri-urban agriculture without constructions thereon and allotted to agricultural organization or peasant farm on condition of permanent (open-ended) land tenure or hereditary life-long possession shall be purchased in ownership by the aforesaid categories of natural and legal persons at the cost of 15 percent of cadastre value of the plot of land at the date of submittal of the application”.

The purpose of this Act is to prescribe necessary matters concerning the efficient preservation, use, and development of coasts, thereby contributing to enhancing the preservation of the coastal environment, facilitating the sustainable development of coasts, and creating pleasant and affluent coasts as the basis for people's lives. In particular, the State and local governments shall formulate policies necessary to preserve, use and develop coasts in a sustainable manner.

La presente Resolución aprueba el Reglamento Único para la Revisión y Registro de Planos de Agrimensura y Planos de Fotogrametría por la Dirección Nacional de Mensura Catastral de la Autoridad Nacional de Administración de Tierras (ANATI), y dicta disposiciones sobre la estructura orgánica de la ANATI.

La presente Resolución aprueba el Manual de procedimiento único para la regularización de bienes inmuebles y la adjudicación y titulación de derechos de posesión por parte de la Autoridad Nacional de Administración de Tierras (ANATI). Se aprueba el Formulario único de solicitud de adjudicación de tierras nacionales, el cual constituirá el medio a través del cual la persona natural o jurídica ejercerá el derecho de petición de adjudicación de un terreno nacional.

The present Ordinance implements the Survey Act 1968. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to conditions under which land shall be considered as altered because of ground motion. El presente Decreto Supremo modifica el Reglamento del Régimen Temporal Extraordinario de Formalización y Titulación de Predios Rurales, para adaptarlo al proceso de descentralización en el contexto del cual corresponde asumir a los Gobiernos Regionales algunas funciones del Ministerio de Agricultura y Riego (MINAGRI), en materia de saneamiento físico legal y formalización y titulación de la propiedad agraria.
