El presente Decreto, que consta de 13 artículos, establece la Metodología para la determinación de la capacidad de uso de las tierras de Costa Rica, que es de aplicación obligatoria en la elaboración de todas las estrategias, políticas, proyectos, programas, planes y ejecución de actividades específicas que se lleven a cabo en el territorio nacional por instituciones nacionales e internacionales de carácter público o privado. Se crea un comité de coordinación con el objeto de poder dar un seguimiento, evaluación, modificación y actualización a la presente metodología.

In compliance with Decree-Law 218/94 of 20 August, this Order establishes technical rules to be followed in order to carry out planning of coastal areas. This Ministerial Decree deals with the morphological aspects of coastal areas, specifying the aspects to be examined in the planning process.

The aid granted under these Regulations aims at the management of land of broadleaved woodland compatible with the requirements of the protection of the environment the beneficiaries of aid shall conclude an agreement with the Secretary of State in which management requirements laid down in the Schedule to these Regulations are included.

These Regulations provide for aid to eligible persons, defined in regulation 2, who undertake not to use eligible land for agricultural purposes for a period of 10 years. The beneficiary agrees with the Secretary of State upon a programme of management for the land and shall comply with obligations undertaken under these Regulations.

These Regulations implement Community legislation on agricultural production methods compatible with the requirements of the protection of the environment and the maintenance of the countryside. The Regulations provide for the payment of aid to eligible persons who in respect of eligible land undertake not to use such land for agricultural production for a period of 20 years and to manage the land in accordance with the requirements set out in the Schedule to the Regulations with the purpose of maintaining, improving or protecting a wildlife habitat.

These Regulations add a new payment rate for aid for set-aside land managed in accordance with the management obligations in the principal Regulations 1994. Now the beneficiary may alter the area of land to be counted as set-aside land during the management period. Requirements concerning information to be included in the application for aid are also amended. The provisions regarding recovery are altered so as to give the Minister power to recover the difference between the old and the new payment rate. (9 regulations)

Cet arrêté du Gouvernement flamand portant exécution de certains articles du décret du 23 janvier 1991 relatif à la protection de l'environnement contre la pollution due aux engrais est formé par 68 articles répartis en 12 chapitres. The purpose of this Law is to provide for the protection and management of coast, shore and bank areas. Protection and management shall be based on principles of sustainable development and preservation of biological diversity (art. 1). Article 2 defines coasts, shores and banks as land areas bordering the sea, lakes, rivers, reservoirs and water courses, which for the purposes of this Law start at the "mean" water level line (art. 2).

Ce décret porte extension et adaptation à la collectivité territoriale de Mayotte de la partie réglementaire du livre II (nouveau) du Code rural intitulé Protection de la nature. Il ajoute au titre VI du livre II du Code rural, un chapitre III "Dispositions particulières à la collectivité territoriale de Mayotte", relatives, notamment, à la protection de la faune et de la flore, à la chasse, à la pêche en eau douce.

The Decree makes provisions for the extension of peat land to one million hectares in the Province/First-Level Region of Central Kalimantan. The formulation of development programmes is entrusted to a Team for Peat Land Development. The technical implementation of said programmes shall be carried out by government agencies according to the legislation in force.

Plant protection and soil conservation stations are part of the national administration. They are established in each county and in the capital and are supervised by the Minister of Agriculture through a specialized division of the Ministry. They carry out all the duties regarding plant protection, plant health and soil conservation specified in special provisions. As part public, part private structures they can establish enterprises.
