Welcome to Mie University. This is the only national university located within Mie Prefecture. The seaside campus overlooking Ise Bay has a wide variety of departments, from science to humanities.

Mie University fosters individuals who posses sophisticated expertise and technological skill, and who will promote innovation within the region, through the development of the 'Four Abilities'-emotion, thought, communication and the all-encompassing physical and intellectual abilities.

The Land Tenure Journal, launched in early 2010, is a successor to the Land Reform, Land Settlement and Cooperatives, which was published between 1964 and 2009.  The Land Tenure Journal is a medium for the dissemination of quality information and diversified views on land and natural resources tenure. It aims to be a leading publication in the areas of land tenure, land policy and land reform.

The Journal of ISSAAS is published semiannually, every June and December, by the International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS), which seeks to encourage the holistic approach to problems and to promote the progress and advancement in science and technology through research and publications, the outcome of which is for regional agricultural development.

El Instituto de Política Internacional fue creado en septiembre de 2014 con el objetivo de dotar a la universidad de una plataforma desde la que desarrollar investigaciones en el ámbito de las Relaciones Internacionales, coincidiendo con los primeros pasos del Grado en Relaciones Internacionales.
