Le présent décret crée d'Etablissement public d'aménagement de la Plaine du Var, un établissement public d'aménagement de l'Etat à caractère industriel et commercial doté de la personnalité morale et de l'autonomie financière. Placé sous la tutelle du ministre chargé de l'urbanisme, cet établissement est chargé de procéder à toutes opérations de nature à favoriser l'aménagement, le renouvellement urbain, le développement économique et la valorisation des espaces compris à l'intérieur du périmètre défini en annexe au présent décret .

El presente Reglamento tiene por objeto regular en lo específico las disposiciones de la Ley de Catastro del Estado de Quintana Roo, fijar las normas de funcionamiento de la actividad catastral en el Estado, establecer los mecanismos de coordinación necesarios con los ayuntamientos cuando así lo soliciten o en los términos de los convenios que al efecto se celebren para proporcionar a éstos, así como establecer los flujos de información necesaria para la consolidación y conservación del Sistema de Información Catastral del Estado.

Law 10169 of 2009 amends and supplements articles 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27 and 32 of the law No.9482 of 2006. The amendments mostly concern the payment procedures of the non-permitted constructions.

These provisions supplement article 51 of Law No. 8405 of 1998 with regard to the fees that must be paid in respect of certain projects to obtain construction permits.

The National Environment Policy (NEP) is a multi-sectoral instrument whose vision is to reach environmental sustainability for the Republic of Mauritius and to ensure a clean and healthy environment. The specific objectives to be attained in this field include the following: Conservation of Environmental Resources; integration of environmental concerns in economic and social development; development of environmental ethics in citizens. The policy recognizes the right of every person to a clean and healthy environment.

This Law aims at transforming the system of public landownership into private property ownership. It is structured as follows: Chapter 1 (General provisions). Article 1 provides that the right of ownership shall be restored either by restitution of the actual property or through financial compensation. Article 2 lists the categories of citizens eligible for such restoration.

Article 5 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Regional land-use planning schemes shall contain data on solid waste formation, recycling, treatment, management and disposal of solid domestic waste”.

This Regional Law sets forth the modalities of urban land-use planning at municipal and regional levels. The scope of this Regional Law shall be consideration of totality of social, economic, ecological and other factors with a view of ensuring sustainable development of territorial land-use planning. Basic land-use planning documentation shall include regional and municipal land-use planning schemes. Regional land-use planning schemes shall include mapping of territorial development plan.
