The aim of this research was to determine physical land evaluation of hazelnut areas of Ordu-Unye and its vicinity. The study area, is located between west of Ordu and south of Samsun provinces, at coordinates 4542500-4537500 km N and 342500-347500 km E (UTM), covers approximately 31.5 km2. The study area consists of various topographic features such as, hilly and rolling physiographic units commonly. Elevation varies from 200 m to 600 m above sea level. Average annual precipitation and temperature are 1162.4 mm and 14.2ºC, respectively.

The article presents the developed economic-mathematical model of optimization of land tenure sizes of agricultural organizations. The mechanism of comparison of specific industrial expenses increasing and reducing the farm area is revealed. Using remote sensing and geographical information system (GIS), the detection of land cover/landuse (LC/LU) spaceies and monitoring changes in particular periods are made easily and economically. CORINE classification was developed in 1985 by countries of the Europeon Union to establish a good harmony especialy with LC/LU classification. This system contains three levels of classification. So far, LC/LU classification has not been fullfilled using large scale CORINE classification in Turkey,.

The Karkheh River Basin is the third largest basin in Iran after Karoon and Dez, and occupies a strategic position on the western boundary of the country. The basin has seen remarkable ancient feats of engineering, and has a long history of wheat and barley production, complemented by horticulture. With the growth of the modern nation-state of Iran, water development has progressed steadily in tandem with rising populations and urbanization.

ABSTRACTED FROM INTRODUCTION: This paper traces the implications of key agrarian transformations −particularly the reforms in land policy and emerging land relations− for livelihood security and vulnerability. Part of a broader societal transformation and globalization of economies, these new development trajectories include commercialization of farmers’ produce, contract farming, cooperative sector reform, rising landlessness and tenant farming, and the end of exclusive dependence on land for earning a living.

Het aantal ouderen neemt toe. Bij veel ouderen groeit de financiële armslag, maar dat gaat gepaard met een kleinere dagelijkse actieradius.
