Designated Reservoir Areas Regulation (Man. Reg. 22/88).

The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 2 of the present Regulation establish that the Minister shall not issue a permit in respect of a building or structure within a designated reservoir area unless the building or structure is for agricultural purposes or for water control works; or b) the designated reservoir area, or that part thereof in which the building or structure is or will be situated, is under a town planning scheme, a planning scheme, or a development plan. The text consists of 9 sections.

The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 1 establishes that the dyking systems set out in the Schedule are established as designated dyking systems protecting the lands described therein, and each has the name given to it in the section heading preceding the description.

This Order specifies permitted development, requires a planning permission to be obtained for certain development and provides with respect to other matters related to development control. Any planning permission granted shall run with the land. The permission granted by the Planning Authority shall be subject to the standard conditions contained in Part II of the First Schedule. Planning permission may also be granted by a local council if authority has been delegated to such council.

This Order specifies in the Schedule land use and building classes for purposes of section 3 of the Town and Country Planning Act. Where a building or land is used for a purpose of any class specified in the Schedule to this order, the use of such a building or land for any other purpose of the same class shall not be deemed for the purposes of the Town and Country Planning Act 1980 to involve development of the land.

These Regulations amend the Range Management and Grazing Control Regulations 1980 with respect to a wide variety of matters including: interpretations; grazing fees and penalties for grazing offences; organization of rotational grazing; regulation of stock numbers; and inspection of stock by an Agricultural Officer. Definitions that are added by these Regulations include: "grazing season", "carrying capacity" (i.e. the maximum stocking rate possible without damage to vegetation or related resources), and "range".

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 22 June 1979. In particular, the Ordinance regulates land use planning in the Canton of Glarus dealing with the following aspects: agricultural zones, protected water areas, areas liable to natural disasters, infrastructural measures, building outside permitted areas, local authorities with no official building areas, cantonal competent authorities, and financial contributions by the Canton and dispute settlements. The text consists of 10 articles.

This Decree regulates Law No. 6.225 establishing the obligation of drawing up regional environmental plans in order to avoid or prevent soil erosion. It consists of 14 articles defining lands to be protected (specifying environmental requirements to be satisfied) according to the Ministry of Agriculture. Land authorized activity is specified in the text.

These Regulations are formulated in order to improve the management of land in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, to exploit its resources and to implement rational utilisation of the land. The Special Zone shall practice a system of "compensatory usage" and "compensatory assignment" of State owned land. A land user unit or individual shall be responsible for the protection, management and rational use of land allocated for its usage (art. 2).
