The present Act lays down provisions relating to the cultural heritage in the province of New Brunswick. The Act strengthen the province’s ability to conserve heritage sites and objects by establishing the Crown as legal owner of heritage objects, and prohibiting the alteration of heritage sites.
This Act makes provision for the management and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Montserrat. It establishes the Forestry, Wildlife, National Parks and Protected Areas Board and the Environmental Fund. The Board shall, among other things, advise the Minister and review and revise the national forest, wildlife and national parks plan.

The present Act declares valid the Agreement between Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada and the Gwich’in, as represented by the Gwich’in Tribal Council, signed on 12 April 1992. Section 5 establishes that for the purposes of carrying out its objectives, the Renewable Resources Board established by the afore-mentioned Agreement has the capacity,rights, powers and privileges of a natural person. This Act amends the Conservation Areas Act in sections 18,19, 20 and 24 with respect to transfer of functions of the Minister to the Managing Director of the Conservation and Environment Authority (relating to the Register of conservation areas). It also repeals section 23 and allows the Managing Director to issue a certificate in the prescribed form certifying that an area described in the certificate has been registered in the Register (sect. 22).
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the so-called “green belt”. For the purpose of this Act “green belt land” means land that is considered by the Miniister to be suitable for preservation as greenbelt land under this Act.
This Act prescribes steps necessary for the protection of any protected area or protected place. Defensive measures which involve or may involve danger to the life of any person entering or attempting to enter a protected area or protected place shall be used. No person shall be in the premises of protected areas or places unless in possession of a pass-card or permit issued by an authorized officer.
This Act aims at preventing soil erosion and damages to public land caused by vehicular traffic. Under section 5, the Governor in Council may declare any public land to be an erosion hazard area, and the Act provides for the management of such areas.

The purpose of this Act is to make provision for Victorian heritage rivers by providing for the protection of public land in particular parts of rivers and river catchment areas in Victoria which have significant nature conservation, recreation, scenic or cultural heritage attributes and to make related amendments to other Acts.
