This Regulation of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) implements provisions of the Community Rights Law of 2009 with Respect to Forest Lands ("Community Rights Law"), and determines the rules, guidelines and procedures for the establishment of forest communities and to access, manage, use and the benefits of forest resources within the Republic of Liberia, and participation by communities in the reforestation, rehabilitation and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Liberia.

This Regional Law establishes basic principles related to governance of public property. Regional Government shall perform autonomous governance of the regional public property. This Regional Law establishes plenary powers of regional state bodies and local government related to land tenure of urban land pertaining to public land. It shall not be applicable to agricultural land and land of protected areas.

The law lays down the general principles of inspection, the organization of the public institutions that carry out inspection functions, the rules of procedure, and the establishment of the Central Inspectorate. This Law amends Law No. 17/10 on the organization and functioning of the State Local Administration Authorities. Amendments establish new administrative and legal proceedings, in particular: the powers of the Provincial Governor, the Documentation and Information Centre, the filling, the Municipal Council of Auscultation and Social Dialogue and the Directorate of Municipal Bureau.

This Law, consisting of six Titles divided into 105 articles, establishes the organization and functioning of the State Local Administration Authorities.

This Proclamation requires (future) public servants to disclose to and register with the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission their interests in assets, including immovable property, so as to enhance transparency and accountability in the conduct of public affairs. Customary law shall not apply to matters provided for by this Proclamation. Any public office or public enterprise shall ensure compliance with this Proclamation.

This Act provides for the recovery of moveable and immoveable assets acquired as a result of an unlawful activity and establishes an Enforcement Authority, an Investigative Agency for this purpose. It also establishes a Recovered Assets Fund. Property which is attributable to property which is recoverable may be mixed with other property where it is used for the restoration or improvement of land.
