Land (Ownership of Freeholds) Regulation 1977.

The Regulation implements provisions of the Land (Ownership of Freeholds) Act 1976 with respect to lease and registration of title in freehold land. Article 2 concerns the application by the owner of any freehold land or the holder of any frustrated right for the grant of a substitute lease in substitution for his freehold interest or frustrated right. Article 5 provides with respect to notices of objection. A substitute lease granted in accordance with a proposal shall be in Form 3.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of allotment, in case of availability, of land for housing free of charge. Allotment of land for housing shall be carried out in accordance with general land-use planning schemes. Objects of allotment shall be plots of land located in inhabited areas that can be conceded in ownership. Dimensions of the plots of land for housing shall be determined by the local self-government.

This Decree establishes that condominium shall be considered non-governmental entity, non-commercial organization having the status of legal person. The purpose of condominium shall be maintenance, management and conservation of housing facilities and plot of urban land provided with amenities. The aforesaid plot of land shall be allotted to condominium on term of common (shared) property. Condominium shall be granted the right to determine types and modalities of land tenure.

Ordinance on contributions by land owners for the correction or constructions of public waters (Perimeter Ordinance).

Article 1 of the above-mentioned Ordinance establishes that when the costs of correction or obstruction of public waters are not covered by subsidies of the Federation, Canton or municipalities, the land owners have to make contribution as set out in the present Ordinance. The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law relating to the federal rural soil legislation of 1 May 1994 and the Introductory Law relating to the federal rural soil legislation of 1 May 1994. In particular, the Ordinance establishes the competent offices in charge of the enactment of provisions relating to rural soil and agricultural lease. The text consists of 6 articles.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of allotment free of charge to citizens for house-building of the plots of land of the total area of 0.10 ha. Recurring allotment of the plots of land free of charge to citizens for the aforesaid purpose shall be prohibited. Allotment of the plots of land into ownership to the foreign citizens and stateless persons shall be charged with the application of the use restrictions.

The Government decrees to validate the forms of the following land ownership certificates: (a) certificate of private ownership of a plot of land; (b) permanent land use certificate; (c) provisional charged (short-term, long-term) land use (lease); and (d) provisional free of charge land use.
