The Planning and Development in section 27 provides that the Minister may make tree preservation orders for the preservation of trees and woodlands. The Order for the preservation of any tree or group of trees shall be in Form 1, a woodland preservation order shall be in Form 2. The Minister shall serve a notice upon owners or occupants of the land affected prior to making an order. Regulations 4 to 7 provide for the possibility to make objections against an Order.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of Con Dao district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.The main objectives of the plan include: protection of biodiversity, and reasonable exploitation and use of natural resources; development of sea and island tourism, eco-tourism and cultural and historical tourism; afforestation; renovation of the water drainage systems; management of waste; management of national parks and the building of marine reserves; and urban space development.

This Presidential Decree approves the mid-term Development Plan 2009-2013 for the Province of Huíla (in the Annex). The above mentioned Plan specifies the projects prescribed by the General Budget of 2012 under the Development Programme of this Province. This Act makes provision for the management, development and protection of the forest resources of The Bahamas and for related matters.The Act consist of 36 sections divided into 9 Parts: Preliminary (I); Administration (II); Forest Reserves, Protected Forests and Conservation Forests (III); Protected Trees (IV); Leases, Licences and Permits (V); Forestry on Private Land (VI); Power of Officers (VII); Offences (VIII); Regulations (IX).The Act provides for the establisment of an agency in Government to be called the Forestry Unit.

This Regional Law regulates relations originating in the process of management of regional natural resources with a view of setting up favorable conditions for rational use, protection, conservation, reproduction and increase thereof, and environmental improvement. Objects of legal regulation by this Regional Law shall be land, air, subsoil, surface water and groundwater, forests, wild fauna and wild flora, natural landscapes and protected areas. Natural resources shall be public property.

This Act makes provision for the protection of the environment and vegetation and provides rules to environmental sanitation and physical planning and development. It shall promote the conservation of the natural environment and landscape beauty of Norfolk Island and to ensure, so far as is practicable, that physical works and other activities are in harmony with the natural environment. The Act establishes the Norfolk Island Planning Board. The Board shall consider applications for authorization of activities for which approval is required under this Act.

The scope of this Act is to regulate reindeer breeding activities and the use of reindeer pastures. Also the counting of reindeer and marking of animals is provided for (Chapters 3 and 4). Chapter 6 concerns the compensation of damages to forests and cultivation. Chapter 7 provides for the protection of reindeers. Various measures placing restrictions on reindeer breeding may be decided upon by the Government pursuant to section 2 of the Act relative to Protection Forests (No. 196/22).
