With this Regulation, the Republic of Croatia has established a institution called “Public Nature Park Lastovo Islands", as a public institution of interest for the Republic of Croatia.This Institution provides various services in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Nature, and in particular: the protection, maintenance and promotion of the Nature Park "Lastovo Islands" in order to protect and maintain the authenticity of nature, ensuring uninterrupted continuation of natural processes and the sustainable use of natural resources; supervision over the conditions and protection measures; control over the permitted business activities, in order to ensure the rational and sustainable use of natural resources.
