This Decree approves the Regulation of the Land and Agrarian Reform Institution of the State of Pernambuco (ITERPE). This Regulation (in Annex I), consisting of 8 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Institution ITERPE, created by Law No. 13.900 and entitled to carry out actions in critical aspects of Land and Agrarian Reform, such as: manage land use and ownership conflicts; to allow settlement to no-land farmers; to manage and promote means for the socio-economic and environmental development of settled households; to represent the State against any land administrative and legal discrimination.
