Large-scale land acquisitions and leases: A set of core principles and measures to address the human rights challenge

In the present report the Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food analyses how these investments could have impacts on the right to food. He highlights how international human rights law could provide guidance to ensure that these investment agreements contribute to the realization of the human right to adequate food and proposes as a minimum a set of core principles and measures for host States and investors alike.
