The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Article 45 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The right to permanent (open-ended) tenancy of a land plot can be mandatorily stopped in the following cases: (a) non-purposeful use of land with flagrant violation of rational land management regulations; (b) soil damages; (c) non-fulfilment of land reclamation arrangements; and (d) non-utilization of agricultural land for agricultural purposes for a period of three years and over”.

Facilities for Title Order (Cap. 99).

This Order implements provisions of the Facilities for Title Act by: declaring the purposes set out in section 11 of the Agriculture (Hurricane Rehabilitation) Act, Chapter 7 to be approved purposes to which section 3 of the Act applies and that the application of the Act shall be limited to holdings of a specified maximum value; and by empowering the Central Agricultural Rehabilitation Committee to issue loans for the rehabilitation of lands to which the Act applies at a specified rate per acre.

Item 5.4² shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the name of the Russian Federation shall apply for state registration of property right of the Russian Federation to land plots required for marine harbour and fluvial port facilities and infrastructure of inland waterways of the Russian Federation, and also of other ownership rights to such sites that is recognized (is originated) in accordance with the federal laws”.
