Location

The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Survey Fees Ordinance.

The present Ordinance implements the Fees Law for the Land Brandenburg of 7 July 2009. Article 1 of the Ordinance establishes that for official acts connected with land survey as listed in the Annex, fees shall be charged. The text consists of 12 articles and 1 Annex.

Brandenburg Geo-Data Infrastructure Law.

The present Law enforces the Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).The specific purpose of the Law is to create the legal framework for the geo-data infrastructure in Brandenburg being part of the national geo-data infrastructure. In particular, the Law shall ensure that such data are: a) sustainable, up-to-date and of first quality; as well as b) simply and easily accessible.
