The present Law enforces the Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).The specific purpose of the Law is to create the legal framework for the geo-data infrastructure in Brandenburg being part of the national geo-data infrastructure. In particular, the Law shall ensure that such data are: a) sustainable, up-to-date and of first quality; as well as b) simply and easily accessible.
