Entre los fines de la SEHA está fomentar la investigación, el intercambio de opiniones, la enseñanza y la divulgación del conocimiento científico referentes a la historia agraria y a la economía y la sociedad rurales, desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria. La SEHA también pretende propiciar la conservación y facilitar la consulta y uso a todos los investigadores de los archivos y material relativos a las actividades agrarias y a las sociedades rurales a lo largo de las diferentes épocas históricas.

O CENTRO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO AGROECOLÓGICO SABIÁ é uma organização não governamental com sede no Recife, Pernambuco, fundada em 1993, que trabalha para promoção da agricultura familiar dentro dos princípios da agroecologia. Desenvolvendo e multiplicando a Agricultura Agroflorestal, também conhecida como Agrofloresta ou Sistemas Agroflorestais. Juridicamente é uma associação civil de direito privado sem finalidade econômica, de natureza técnico-ecológica e educacional.

Missão

O Movimento dos Pequenos Agricultores (MPA) é um movimento camponês, de caráter nacional e popular, de massa, autônomo e de luta permanente, constituído por grupos de famílias camponesas. Seu principal objetivo é a produção de comida saudável para as próprias famílias e também para todo o povo brasileiro, garantindo assim, a soberania alimentar do país. Além disso, busca o resgate da identidade e da cultura camponesa, respeitando as diversidades regionais.

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) is an international non-profit organization that undertakes scientific research for development.
