The scope of this Law shall be to ensure public access to information detained by state bodies, institutions and local government. It establishes the modalities of release of information upon request of natural and legal persons. This Law shall be applicable to documentation available at state bodies and institutions. Information shall be available to public access in cases if otherwise is not envisaged by acting legislation. It shall not be applicable to exchange of information between state bodies and institutions.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to land use planning in Carinthia. The Municipal Council is required to adopt a Land Use Zoning Plan which divides the entire municipality into building land, grass land and traffic area taking into consideration the local development plan and the economic, social, ecological and cultural requirements of the whole area. This Act provides rules relative to the exploration for and the exploitation of mineral resources and related matters such as the protection of the environment and the use of water resources.This Act declares all rights of ownership in minerals to be vested in the Basotho nation. Mineral rights may be acquires and exploited in accordance with this Act. The Act sets out restrictions on the acquisition of mineral rights. Mineral rights are: a prospecting licence; a mining lease; a mineral permit for small-scale mining operations (together: "mineral concessions").

The scope of this Law shall be protection of consumers against application of poor quality and hazardous fertilizer presenting health risks for human beings and animals, and also ensuring application of equal requirements for natural and legal persons performing activities with fertilizers. It establishes the competence of state executive bodies supervising activities related to circulation of fertilizers. It also sets forth mandatory requirements for manufacturers and packagers of fertilizers related to registration, packaging and labelling thereof.

The purpose of the present Act is to provide for: a) the adoption of regional development plans for the general development thereof; b) the coordination of community planning within the context of a regional plan, if any; c) with respect to unincorporated parts of the Province, the vesting in the Lieutenant-Governor in Council and in the Minister of planning authority and the vesting in the Minister of administrative authority in connection with such unincorporated parts.

The present Act provides the Government of the Northwest Territories with authority related to the disposition and use of land, including the disposition of subsurface minerals.
