El presente Decreto modifica el Reglamento a la Ley que tiene como objetivo su correcta aplicación para la preservación del uso de los terrenos dedicados a actividades de producción primaria agropecuaria, para que se incluya la definición de Áreas de conservación y protección, que son todas aquellas partes o secciones de terrenos de un bien inmueble de uso agropecuario primario con límites definidos dedicados a la protección de los acuíferos, la protección ambiental, la regeneración natural del bosque o donde se han sembrado árboles con fines de protección.

This Act makes provision for the establishment of the Namibian Council for Professional Land Surveyors, Technical Surveyors and Survey Technicians and for the registration of practitioners by the Registrar of the Council and regulates their qualification, professional conduct and practice.

L’appellation "Office de la topographie et de la cartographie" prévue par la loi n° 74- 100 du 25 décembre 1974 portant création de l’Office de la topographie et de la cartographie est remplacée par l’appellation "Office de la topographie et du cadastre". This Act amends the Deeds Registries Act 1937 in provisions concerning, among other things: appointment of the Chief Registrar; the duties of the Registrar; and the issuing of a certificate of title in respect of a fraction of an undivided share in land.

This Act provides for the control on the development of land and for this purpose establishes the Development Control Authority. "It shall be the duty of the Authority to institute a survey of the State, examining the matters which may be expected to affect the development of the State or the planning of its development and in any event to keep all such matters under review" (sect. 6(1)). For the purposes of subsection (1), the Authority shall prepare a survey of matters mentioned in subsection (1) and a Development Plan as described in subsection (3) of section 6.

Section 2 (definitions) is amended by adding definitions of "survey and measurement", and "registered records". Section 7 is completely rewritten It provides for the circumstance in which the effective boundaries of a recorded area are not corresponding with the actual survey. A new section (8A) relative to replacement of old records of newly surveyed areas, is added. Section 11A concerns the preparation of land-ownership certificates.
