This Law amends and supplements articles 81-83 and 86 of Law No. 10119 of 2009 with regard to the inspection rules and rules of procedure which should comply with law no. 10433 of 2011 on inspection. Both penalties and complimentary measures can be issued in cases of infringements. Inspection decisions may be appealed according to the law on inspection.

This Sub-Decree determines criteria, procedures, mechanisms and institutional arrangements for initiating and granting new economic land concessions.Economic land concessions may be granted only on land that has been registered and classified as state private land, that has adopted a land use plan, that has completed an environmental and social impact assessment, etc.

I, Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Minister-in-charge of Defence and Urban Development, establish that the land specified in the schedule urgently requires an Urban Development Project. This Regional Law establishes the grounds for and the modalities of transfer free of charge on condition of ownership to local government of land plots pertaining to regional property. The aforesaid transfer shall be performed for municipal land-use planning and development of urban areas. Land pertaining to regional property free of third-party claims and not occupied by constructions and edifices can be transferred to local government. The aforesaid transfer shall be performed by decision in the forms of Governor’s Decree.

Article 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “General projects of land use planning, rules of land tenure related to territories of historical human settlements shall require coordination by the competent authority”.

For the purpose of the present Act «lands» means lands in respect of which the rights to the gold or other precious minerals or stones are under the administration and control of the Commissioner. Under the present Act Yukon lievies a royalty on all gold shipped from Yukon for export, whether in the form of gold dust as mined or bars. The royalty is computed at the rate of 2.5% of the value of the gold, or at such lesser rate as may be fixed by the Commissioner-in-Council.

The present Regulation is made under the Placer Mining Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the efficient and correct enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act. Section 2 establishes that this Regulation and Part 2 of the Act apply to claims or land on which a lease has been granted. This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2010, the Town and Country Planning (Section 62A Applications) (Procedure and Consequential Amendments) Order 2013 and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990 in relation with relevant planning permission applications based on section 62A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (procedure for listed building consent).
