This Regional Law sets forth the modalities of allotment of plots of land in ownership to citizens free of charge for gardening, horticulture, subsistence farming, family farming and commercial farming, to citizens with three children under age, citizens with disabled children and specialists in agricultural professions with university degree under age of 35 years working in rural areas. It establishes also minimum and maximum agricultural land area of plots of land that can be allotted in ownership free of charge.

This Regional Law regulates relations dealing with land tenure, protection and conservation of land, establishing plenary powers of regional state bodies in this sphere and, in particular the issues related to land tenure and ownership. It establishes minimum (0, 5 ha) and maximum (15 ha) public and municipal land areas for plots of land allotted for family farming. Single natural or legal persons cannot have in ownership more than 10 percent of the whole available agricultural land area on the regional territory.

El presente Reglamento autónomo para la selección y adjudicación de solicitantes de tierras, establece los procedimientos a que deben someterse las personas solicitantes de tierras, personas físicas o personas jurídicas sin fines de lucro, para el estudio y selección, ya sea para asentamientos campesinos de explotación individual o colectiva, lotes para vivienda, granjas familiares y parcelas libres por renuncia de personas adjudicatarias por revocatoria y por nulidad de títulos.

This Regional Law establishes that price of a plot of land located in urban areas and destined for agricultural production already allotted to peasant farm on condition of permanent (open-ended) possession or as lifelong hereditary possession in case of purchase thereof by the aforesaid categories of tenants shall be 15 percent of estimated cadastre value at the date of submittal of application.
