La presente Ley en primer lugar declara de interés general la preservación y defensa de la soberanía del Estado uruguayo en lo relativo a los recursos naturales y en especial a la tierra. En este sentido la Ley prohíbe la compra y tenencia a cualquier título con finalidades de explotación agropecuaria en todo el territorio nacional a empresas extranjeras o instaladas en el país en las que participe directa o indirectamente un Estado extranjero. El artículo 3º indica bajo qué circunstancias y requisitos se podrán aplicar excepciones a dicha prohibición.

La presente Ley modifica la Ley de creació del Registro Nacional, en aspectos relacionados con el traslado del Registro Nacional de Aeronaves al Registro Público de la Propiedad Mueble.

This Decree validates the Statute of the Federal Committee on Land Resources and Land Survey. It establishes that the functioning of this Committee is regulated by the Russian Constitution, Laws, Rulings of the Congress of People's Deputies, Orders of the Supreme Soviet, Presidential and Governmental Decrees and Orders and by this Statute.

These Regulations amend the Real Estate (Dealers and Developers) Regulations in provisions concerning: licences for dealers, registration of dealers, and fees for development. They also insert a new regulation 5A on conditions to e complied with by a developer who wishes to have discharged from any land a charge that has been executed and lodged with the Registrar of Titles in favour of the Real Estate Board.

The present Ordinance introduces some amendments to the Building Ordinance of 22 September 2009. In particular, the Ordinance amends, inter alia, article 67 dealing with authorization on behalf of the competent authority for use of public soil. Moreover, the Ordinance amends Annex 4. This Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures regarding the transfer of agricultural land, the procedures of succession, inheritance and valuation. It also sets out provisions on the acreage and economic integrity of adequate income agricultural lands. The Regulation further determines the features of the eligible heir.
