These Regulations concern the validity of electronic documents for the creation, transfer, variation or extinction of land and interests in land. Documents created within the cadastre’s computer system, and authenticated by means of digital signature, shall be valid at specified conditions. The text consists of 6 articles.

Under section 11 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, the National Assembly for Wales may by regulations provide the procedures to be followed in the preparation of maps which will show land over which the public will have a right of access, comprising registered common land and open country to which the public right of access under section 2 of the Act will relate. These Regulations make provision for the preparation and issue of maps in provisional and conclusive form.

Registration shall take place with the Territorial Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors. These Regulations define standards and rules of conduct for professional engineers, architects and land surveyors for the purpose of guaranteeing a high level of integrity, skill and practice of these professions. Provisions concern, among other things, conflict of interest, sollication of work, advertisment and construction services. The professions shall observe the Rules of Conduct promulgated in accordance with Chapter 32 of Title 22 CGA.

Rules to implement provisions of the National Lands Act. Except in special cases approved by the Minister, national lands, other than town or village lots, will be disposed of only by way of grants. All mines of gold and silver and other metals and minerals, all ancient monuments, mounds or relics within the meaning of section 12 of the National Lands Act and all forest produce are strictly reserved and do not pass under the grant nor lease.

These Regulations make provision for the maps, plans or drawings which are required to accompany an application by a community body to register an interest in land. If the application is granted the maps, plans or drawings are to be entered in the Register of Community Interests in Land. The Schedule to the Regulations requires that the maps, plans or drawings use a metric scale corresponding to a scale used by the Ordnance Survey for that land, are taxative and show a north point.
