These Regulations of the Scottish Ministers, made under sections 4(8), 5(6) and 25(4) of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, determine when ownership of land is to be treated as transferred for purposes of registration of a crofting interest.

The Land Parcel Identification System is the national identification system of exclusive state property, to be used in administrative procedures of area payments.

The present Ordinance implements the Land Use Planning and Construction Law of 7 March 1989. Article 3 establishes that the Construction, Environment and Economic Office provides the basis for the ecological planning and building. This Order establishes that Federal State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service shall carry out cadastre division of the national territory establishing and changing cadastre districts for the purpose of assigning cadastre numbers to the objects of immovable property. Location of the boundaries of the objects of immovable property shall be established in accordance with the coordinates used for keeping state land cadastre within the respective area.

The present Ordinance implements, inter alia, the Federal Ordinance on official cadastral survey of 18 November 1992.

This General Notice, made under section 3 of the Deeds Registration Act, appoints the Commissioner for Lands as Deeds Registrar.

This General Notice, made under section 6 of the Deeds Registration Act, exempts all leases, tenancy agreements or licences for the occupation of land granted by the Malawi Housing Corporation or the Capital City Development Corporation where the term granted does not exceed 364 days, from the requirement of registration as provided for in the Act.

This General Notice, made under section 6 of the Deeds Registration Act, exempts all Licences for the occupation of land issued by the Minister under the powers conferred upon him or her by section 5 of the Land Act in connection with Agricultural Settlement or Re-Settlement in any part of Malawi, from the requirement of registration as provided for in the Deeds Registration Act.

These Regulations lay down rules for the survey of land under the Land Survey Act. They also concern recording of surveys, arbitration proceedings and determination of compensation for damages caused as result of surveys, fees and taxation and surveys of State land and surveys on behalf of the Government. These Rules amend the Land Registration Rules 2003 in rule 217 in the definition of “conveyancer” to include those who are or who employ authorized persons, authorized or licensed under the provisions of the Legal Services Act 2007 to carry on certain reserved instrument activities relating to land registration The definition also includes public officers carrying on those activities, and specifies when the conveyancer giving a certificate must be an individual.
